With a flyer for the families of students of the school-Russian Pimentel avevamo annunciato che avremmo fatto avere a scuola una serie di termometri per: classi, palestre, laboratori, Spazio Lettura, refettori, aula video e aula prescuola/doposcuola così da poter controllare che il Comune non lasci i bambini al freddo.
La settimana scorsa Gelid, così abbiamo chiamato il termometro (chiedete ai vostri figli perchè si chiama così...), ha fatto il suo ingresso a scuola e a pochi giorni dalla sua comparsa nelle classi ha già riscontrato un primo allarmante caso: nella classe 2B ieri è stata riscontrata una una temperatura 16 degrees: Children and teachers have returned home frozen!

We hope that the future Mayor of Milan, that before long we're going to vote, is going to seriously address the problem of school, a problem which until now has never been addressed in its complexity ...
Just look the new three-year plan of public works to realize that the restructuring of via Russian school (like many other schools in the same conditions) is postponed once again: in fact Programme 2011-2013 we find again in the second year [who had difficulty opening the Excel document that you contact us we will send the document in pdf] .
This means that it is not even considered for the design of buildings! The only action that can access the early planning stages are the ones with funding included in the first year ...
The three-year administration and choices comnuale c’è però da dire di più: a fronte di una necessità complessiva di fondi del settore TECNICO SCUOLE E STRUTTURE SOCIALI di 721.703.769,02 € - pari al 10,34 % del totale delle opere pubbliche del Comune di Milano - nella prima annualità passa solo il 6,51% delle opere.
Dove è finita la differenza? Se cerchiamo un po’, scopriamo che la differenza va a coprire una parte dei costi per la realizzazione di interventi del settore MOBILITA’ E TRASPOSTI, dove nella prima annualità spicca l’intervento da 245.000.000 € per la realizzazione della NUOVA STRADA CONNECTION ZARA - EXPO!
know how many schools could be restored with a 245 million euro? Surely at least 30, maybe 40!
At the end of the Expo to the city of Milan, the Italian government nominated in the ' October 2006 , dovrebbero essere restituiti ambiti di particolare qualità urbana. Questo è uno dei principali obiettivi del B.I.E. (Bureau International dex Expositions), cioè l’organismo che assegna a una particolare città l’organizzazione di un Expo - a Milano l’Expo del 2015.
Ma che ne penserebbe il B.I.E. se sapesse delle condizioni delle scuole milanesi? Sarebbe d’accordo nel sapere che le ristrutturazioni delle scuole milanesi sono rinviate per destinare più fondi per fare strade d’accesso all’area Expo? Sarebbero questi areas of "special urban quality"?!
Expo 2015 would be a growth opportunity for Milan at the time and instead there seems to be only a local operation that erodes the resources and we can not help but conclude that the school construction is not a priority for this administration city!
Ricordiamocelo, when we choose the next Mayor!
