In November we launched within the elementary school the Russo-Pimentel " Missione00tappi " hoping to help raise awareness of children and adults to the practice of recycling and environmental protection. So our aim is simply education, collected the caps are delivered to the company Ecorec Street Tertullian 86 and the proceeds of the collection is intended to reward initiative, consisting of a 'activities in of recycling or the environment. All classes will receive a certificate, however, di partecipazione!

Come funziona la raccolta-gara?

Ad ogni classe è stato consegnato un contenitore, quello che vedete nella foto.  I bambini portano i tappi raccolti a casa e li depositano in classe nell'apposita  scatola .  Ogni due settimane Cristiana ( referente dell'associazione per questo progetto  and representative 2B), accompanied by another volunteer of the association provides to the collection and weighing of the caps.

The three classes that collect the most caps will win the prize and to permit its use within the school year, collection will close the last week of April.

What is the prize?

As mentioned above, the prize is an in the collection or protection of the environment and for this , first edition collection of caps we have chosen as the prize workshop "How good the tap water?" by Legambiente .

The activity will include a meeting of the two-hour class is divided into three stages:

1) " the discovery of water "thanks to a power point presentation, a short film funny

and some fi lmati, students will discover the fascinating (and complicated) world of water ;

2) “Il gusto dell’acqua”: laboratorio quiz di degustazione dell’acqua. I bambini sapranno trovare la  differenza fra l’acqua pubblica e quella imbottigliata?  

3) “Il viaggio dell’acqua”, confronto fra la distanza di provenienza dell’acqua dell’acquedotto cittadino e  quella di alcune fra le più famose acque minerali italiane. Attraverso una cartina interattiva si giocherà e  si vedrà la distanza che alcune di esse devono percorrere prima di arrivare sulla nostra tavola.

I tappi da raccogliere sono quelli delle bottiglie delle acque minerali, delle bibite, del latte, della nutella, dei cosmetici, dei detersivi, dei dentifrici o altri tubetti, i contenitori degli ovetti kinder, e qualsiasi altro materiale plastico che riporta la scritta  PE o PEHD , questo tipo è infatti più “pregiato” del contenitore che chiude.
